Pearl's Primero series delivers the attention to detail found in pro and Signature models, but at an accessible price point and scaled for players working in tighter spaces or educational settings. Built from Thai Oak with buffalo skin heads and contour-crown rims, these 6" and 7" bongos offer the tonal warmth associated with wood shell construction. The black powder–coat hardware keeps weight down without compromising durability, making them practical for gigging musicians who value both portability and Pearl's proven track record for dependable instruments.

Thai Oak shell construction yields a characteristically rich, warm tone across both the higher and lower drums in this pair. The 6" and 7" sizing provides a compact yet functional range suitable for Latin percussion arrangements, studio work, and live performance. Buffalo skin heads deliver responsiveness and projection, while the contour–crown rim profile ensures even bearing surface contact and tuning stability.
