The Pearl M80 10 x 4" Snare Drum in chrome is a compact steel shell snare engineered for punch and clarity across recording, live, and practice settings. Pearl's M80 series prioritises response and articulation in a shallow profile that cuts through dense mixes without sacrificing tone depth. The 10-inch diameter makes this snare equally at home in tight studio booths and as a secondary on stage.
Constructed from a 1.2mm seamless steel shell, the M80 produces bright, cutting tones with controlled sustain. Precision-spun chrome plating over the shell provides durability and classic aesthetics. The drum sits on triple-flanged hoops and uses a standard throw-off mechanism, allowing instant on–the–fly snare release tension adjustment. Lugs are die-cast steel, keeping the overall weight moderate while maintaining structural rigidity across dynamic playing.
