PDP's 800 Series is medium-weight hardware designed for drummers who want pro-level features without excess bulk. Built by DW, this four-piece pack includes a double kick pedal, hi-hat stand, snare stand, and throne. Composite memory locks on all tube joints reduce play and keep tuning stable, while oversized anti-slip rubber feet grip the floor without skating.
The PDDP812 double pedal uses a dual-post frame with double-chain, concentric drive for responsive feel and control. Its cast footboard features an integrated needle bearing hinge and offset toe clamp for comfort during longer sessions. The throne sits 13 inches across with a round top, and both the hi-hat and snare stands weigh less than comparable mid-range models, making the full pack portable enough for gigging without sacrificing stability.
