Product Information
Orange's ES100 is a 100W acoustic amplifier designed in collaboration with Ed Sheeran for professional gigging and studio use. Built around a premium Celestion neodymium speaker setup—a 12-inch driver paired with a 1-inch HF tweeter—it delivers the clean headroom and full-range clarity acoustic instruments demand at high stage levels. Two dedicated channels handle guitar and vocals with individual reverb, sweepable mid controls, and feedback management via Q notch filtering on the guitar side.
The mic channel adds a combi XLR/jack input, +48V phantom power, and high-pass filter for flexible live setups, while the guitar channel includes hall reverb and detailed tone-shaping controls. An effects loop and balanced line out enable clean integration with pedalboards and PA systems. The lightweight neodymium speaker design keeps the amp practical to transport without compromising the refined, full-range response serious players expect—vocal clarity stays natural and detailed even as volumes climb into demanding venues.
The 100W output is voiced to stay crystal clean across the full volume range, which matters far more for acoustic performance than driven distortion. This means the ES100 holds its natural tone and projection in larger rooms and outdoor settings, maintaining definition and character when less powerful rigs would compress or colour the signal. For bedroom producers, gigging musicians, and session engineers handling acoustic recordings or live sound duties, the speaker separation and control layout make it a single-amp solution for complete acoustic performances.
