Product Information
The Neumann KK 2105 S is a miniature wireless microphone head engineered for Sennheiser's professional transmitter systems. Built on decades of capsule design expertise, this cardioid unit delivers Neumann's signature presence peak and off–axis rejection, making it a dependable choice for live sound, theatre, and broadcast applications where proximity–driven clarity matters.
The KK 2105 S employs a supercardioid directional pattern with a frequency response spanning 80 Hz to 20 kHz, yielding a signal–to–noise ratio of 61 dB–A at 94 dB SPL. Maximum SPL reaches 155 dB at 3% THD, enabling it to handle everything from intimate vocals to kick drums without distortion. At 325 grammes total weight and 257 mm length with transmitter fitted, the unit remains compact for headworn or handheld mounting. The 48 mm diameter accommodates standard Sennheiser capsule docks across the KK 104, KK 105, KK 183–185, and KMS series platforms.
This head integrates across Neumann's extensive catalogue of wireless–ready models, from the U 87 Ai and TLM 103 to the KMS 105 and vintage M 49 V Set reproductions. Compatibility spans Sennheiser's modern digital 2000, 3000, and 6000 series systems, ensuring it functions seamlessly within existing touring rigs. The supercardioid pattern and robust handling of high SPL make it particularly suited to stage monitoring, wireless vocal work, and feedback–critical environments.
