MOTU Track16 Breakout Box Audio I/O Expander

The MOTU Track16 Breakout Box is a desktop I/O expander for the Track16 audio interface. It replaces the standard breakout cable with a compact, sturdy box that keeps inputs within arm's reach on the front and outputs neatly stowed on the back. The single most important difference from the cable setup is physical accessibility–everything you need to patch is right there, not dangling behind your desk.

The box handles two XLR mic inputs, two high–impedance guitar inputs, two balanced TRS line inputs, and a stereo 1/8–inch mini input on the front. Rear connections include analog main and line outputs, two headphone jacks, MIDI, and S/PDIF. A 40–inch DB–25 cable (included) runs between the Track16 and breakout box, maintaining the same I/O count as the original cable but in a format that sits flat on a desk or rack shelf without taking up much space.
