Product Information
The Mesa Boogie 2x12 Rectifier Diagonal Guitar Speaker Cabinet reimagines the traditional 2x12 format with a unique diagonal speaker arrangement that addresses the coverage limitations of both horizontal and vertical designs. This closed-back cabinet delivers wide horizontal projection to the audience while simultaneously providing exceptional vertical spread for stage monitoring. Built in Petaluma, California from marine-grade Baltic birch, the cabinet combines vintage-inspired construction methods with modern engineering to create a more compact and portable alternative to standard vertical 2x12 configurations while hosting any 23-inch or smaller amplifier head.
Premium Celestion speakers are rear-mounted within the closed-back enclosure, wired to an 8-ohm impedance through a paralleled mono output jack that ensures maximum flexibility when pairing with various amplifier heads. The marine-grade Baltic birch construction provides exceptional tonal resonance and durability, resisting moisture and environmental stress far better than standard plywood. The diagonal speaker layout positions drivers at optimised angles to produce a fat, full response that remains tight and balanced across the frequency spectrum. A slip cover is included to protect the cabinet during transport and storage, addressing the practical demands of gigging musicians.
