Product Information

The Meris Enzo X is a modular instrument synthesizer built on professional audio and studio rack heritage, designed and manufactured in California. It combines polyphonic pitch detection, multi–voice synthesis, and advanced processing in a single desktop unit. With six fully polyphonic voices available simultaneously and playable via instrument input or MIDI keyboard, the Enzo X bridges traditional synthesis with modern control paradigms, making it a serious instrument for producers working across electronic music, sound design, and real–time performance.

Signal integrity sits at the core of the design: a 24–bit A/D and D/A converter paired with 32–bit floating–point DSP at 48 kHz sampling rate handles the conversion chain, whilst an Analog Devices JFET input section maintains a signal–to–noise ratio of 115 dB typical across a 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response. The modular architecture includes five synthesizer modes, configurable oscillator and filter types with SAW, TRIANGLE, and SQUARE waveforms, separate ADSR envelope generators for amplitude and filter, and a custom Meris flanger and phaser section. Connectivity spans stereo input/output with switchable instrument or line–level headroom, MIDI DIN In and Out, dedicated expression pedal jack, and a colour display adapted from Meris' LVX platform.

Practical workflow features include 99 preset locations across 33 banks, a dedicated Favourite bank for instant access to three preferred patches, and a modifier section enabling deep routing of control signals to processing parameters. The 9V DC power requirement (300 mA, 2.1 mm centre–negative jack) keeps the unit compact, whilst the smooth matte black limited–edition finish and dimmable screen and logo light reflect the instrument's premium build quality. MIDI beat clock synchronisation and assignable expression pedal control support both studio and live contexts.
