Product Information
Meinl's Super Soft Drumset Mallets (SB400) deliver a distinctly gentle attack designed for drummers pursuing expressive cymbal swells and resonant tom work. Hand-sewn mallet heads with soft felt construction distinguish these mallets from standard sticks, offering controlled dynamics across drums and cymbals. The 5A-diameter American hickory handle provides the strength needed for extended playing sessions without sacrificing feel.
Built for precision rather than raw volume, these mallets measure 40 cm in length with a 14.4 mm head diameter and weigh light enough for nuanced control. The soft felt composition absorbs impact energy, producing warm tones on toms and orchestral swell effects on cymbals without harsh transients. American hickory construction ensures durability and consistent response across repeated strokes, making them reliable for both studio tracking and live performance contexts.
