The Meinl Sonic Energy Meditation Flow Chime is a 35-inch sound therapy instrument designed to support meditation, yoga, and wellness environments with rich, resonant tones. Ten corrosion-resistant aluminium tubes with a bronze finish hang from nylon cords within two ash wood holders, tuned to the G Major scale at 440 Hz. The chime can be played from both sides, offering varied tonal effects depending on how it's struck, swirled, or rotated with the included felt mallet.
The ten notes span G5, A5, B5, D6, E6, F♯6, G6, A6, B6, and D7, delivering long-lasting resonance that responds to gentle swinging, rotating, and spinning motions. The aluminium construction resists corrosion while maintaining consistent pitch and decay characteristics. A padded carrying bag with velvet insert and adjustable shoulder strap protects the chime during transport. Each tube is individually tunable and may be played alone or in combination for layered harmonic textures.
The chime responds to dynamic input – soft strikes yield subtle overtones, while swirling the entire frame generates spherical, ambient soundscapes that fill treatment rooms and meditation spaces. The bronze finish adds visual warmth to the instrument's presence. The ash wood holders provide structural stability without dampening the tubes' natural vibration.
