The Meinl Sonic Energy Handpan Stainless Steel Vintage Gold D Amara is a handcrafted percussion instrument engineered to produce clear, pure tones with extended sustain. Built from high-grade stainless steel with a 22-inch diameter, this nine-note handpan resonates across the D Amara scale tuned to 440 Hz, delivering harmonic and balanced tones suited to both performance and therapeutic applications.
The handpan features nine individually tuned notes spanning D3 through C5, arranged around a central note that invites melodic exploration whether playing solo or in ensemble settings. Two soundholes project tone toward the player and audience respectively, while two removable sound tubes expand sonic options. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion and supports wide dynamic range, from soft introspective passages to fuller resonant sounds. At 4.6 kilograms, it's portable yet substantial enough for stable playing.
