The Meinl Sonic Energy Handpan Protectant is a German–made care product designed specifically for unlacquered handpans. This 150ml formula combines jojoba oil and wax to create a water–based protective layer that guards against corrosion without leaving a greasy residue. Once applied, the water evaporates and leaves an almost invisible film that maintains the instrument's natural feel and appearance.
The formula delivers genuine corrosion protection while remaining skin–friendly and free from aggressive chemicals. At 172g per bottle, a single application covers the entire handpan surface. The non–greasy composition means no buildup on your hands or the instrument's exterior, and the wax–based finish restores a balanced tactile quality to the playing surface without compromising sensitivity or tone response.
