The Meinl Sonic Energy Gong Beater Small 34cm delivers responsive control across gongs from 20" to 40" in diameter. Engineered in Germany with a beech wood handle and synthetic fleece head wrapped in sheep wool, this beater lets players access everything from gentle whispers to full resonant tones on a single instrument. At 139g, it's light enough for extended playing sessions without fatigue.

The wool–wrapped head absorbs and transmits energy efficiently, making it easier to shape dynamics without excessive force. Players often pair two beaters to unlock layered tonal possibilities and richer harmonic content. The beech wood handle provides a natural grip that's warm in the hand and responsive to subtle pressure changes, letting experienced players fine–tune attack and sustain across the gong's playing surface.
