Meinl Sonic Energy Bendo Seed Nutshells Chimes w/ Mahogany Wood Bracket

The Meinl Sonic Energy Bendo Seed Nutshells Chimes bring a natural, organic tonal palette to sound healing and ambient music production. Mounted on a mahogany wood bracket, the Bendo seed nutshells create a crisp, percussive chime sound that differs markedly from metal bar chimes. Weighing just 810g, this handmade instrument can be held during performance or mounted to a standard percussion stand for stationary use in studio or live settings.

Bendo seed nutshells provide a brighter, more articulate attack than traditional wooden chimes, with each nutshell offering slight tonal variation. The mahogany bracket adds structural rigidity while contributing warmth to the overall timbre. The lightweight construction allows extended playing without fatigue, while the natural materials produce harmonic content that sits well in both therapeutic sound bath environments and contemporary electronic music production. Each nutshell is individually attached, ensuring durability across repeated performance use.
