The Meinl Sonic Energy 3.7" Cosmos Therapy Series Metal Singing Bowl is a handcrafted 250g instrument built in India from a proprietary cast alloy designed to produce deep, sustained tones for meditation and sound therapy. The bellied profile is shaped through additional hammering, creating a resonant chamber that generates multi–layered overtones above a rich fundamental tone. At 9.5cm in diameter, the bowl weighs precisely 250 grams and ships with a corresponding cover and felt ring for stability during playing and storage.
The special cast alloy construction delivers extended sustain that continues to reverberate more than a minute after initial excitation, whether gently tapped or rubbed with a mallet.
