Product Information
This 12″ trash stack cymbal from Meinl's Classics Custom Dark range delivers aggressive, cutting accents with controlled sustain. The stack comprises two cymbals designed to sit together, creating a compressed attack and immediate decay that cuts through dense mixes without lingering overtones. Constructed from B8 bronze alloy, the darker finish and specific lathing pattern produce a dry, trashy tone that stands apart from conventional hi–hats or crash cymbals in both timbre and articulation.
The 12″ diameter provides a higher pitch than larger stacks while maintaining enough surface area for stick definition and dynamic range. B8 bronze construction offers bright attack characteristics tempered by the dark finish treatment, resulting in a tone that sits between pure aggression and musical utility. The cymbal pairing can be mounted on a standard cymbal stand with a clutch or stacked loosely for variable sizzle and sustain control. Precision lathing on both surfaces ensures the cymbals interact consistently across the playing area, delivering repeatable trashy bursts whether struck at the edge or bell.
