Meinl's 22" Byzance Vintage Trash China delivers the dark, trashy tonality you need for metal, punk, and experimental drumming. Cast from B20 bronze and hand-hammered throughout, this cymbal prioritises short sustain and a gritty attack over traditional wash. The sandblasted finish softens the initial strike, adding a dry, earthy character that reads clearly in dense mixes without ringing excessively.
Hand hammering creates the signature voice—each cymbal bears its own tonal fingerprint rather than machine consistency. The B20 alloy composition (80% copper, 20% tin) remains Meinl's industry standard for depth and resonance.
