The Meinl 10" Drummer Snare Timbale represents a patented approach to portable snare voicing, engineered for musicians seeking a hybrid between traditional timbale resonance and crisp snare articulation. Built into Meinl's Drummer Series, this instrument targets percussionists who need compact, versatile texture without sacrificing projection or control across live and studio contexts.

Construction centres on a robust mounting clamp system paired with a throw-off mechanism designed for rapid engagement and disengagement. The patent–pending snare wire bracket isolates the wires in a chatter–free "off" position, eliminating unwanted rattles when the snare is disengaged. The 10" diameter provides a balanced platform for both snare articulation and tonal depth, whilst the quick–action throw mechanism ensures reliable, repeatable positioning during performance transitions.
