Product Information
The Mapex 800 Series Boom Cymbal Arm brings professional–grade stability to drum kits across studio and live settings. Mapex's engineering emphasises adjustability and durability without unnecessary bulk; the 800 Series sits comfortably between entry–level hardware and touring–grade rigs. A quick–release mechanism distinguishes this arm, allowing fast cymbal swaps and repositioning without tools—essential for players who need flexibility during sessions or changeovers.
Construction centres on cold–rolled steel for rigidity and longevity. The boom arm extends to accommodate various cymbal weights and striking angles, whilst the weighted base resists drift during dynamic playing. Black powder–coat finish resists oxidation in humid environments. The quick–release clamp engages and disengages smoothly, maintaining repeatable placement once dialled in. Height and angle adjustment points are intuitive, and the arm balances cymbal mass effectively across the full range of 14" to 20" crash and ride cymbals commonly found in working drum setups.
