LR Baggs' FIVE.O is a purpose–built ukulele pickup system engineered to capture the instrument's distinctive tonal character. The design combines a custom Element pickup element, soundhole–mounted volume control, and miniature endpin preamp into a single cohesive package. At less than 9V battery weight, the complete system installs non–invasively inside the instrument, making it ideal for performers seeking amplification without aesthetic compromise.
The pickup topology pairs a custom version of LR Baggs' award–winning Element transducer with a 3V battery–powered preamp stage housed in a miniaturised endpin housing. The soundhole volume control allows real–time output adjustment without external gear. Installation is streamlined via an integrated pull guide that accelerates setup times. The system's compact footprint and lightweight construction prioritise preservation of the ukulele's acoustic response and playability characteristics whilst delivering consistent amplified output across the instrument's frequency range.
