Product Information
The Lehle P-ISO TRS XLR is a passive stereo isolation and reamplification box designed to eliminate ground loop hum while maintaining signal fidelity across both balanced and unbalanced connections. At its core sits the high-end Lehle Transformer HZ, engineered specifically for high-impedance signals but equally capable with low-impedance sources. This galvanic isolation approach physically separates connected devices, stopping background noise at the source without introducing colouration or loss. The bidirectional design allows signal flow in either direction, expanding its utility across tracking, live mixing, and pedal integration scenarios.
The transformer-based architecture requires no external power, operating entirely passively while preserving transient detail and frequency extension. Both TRS and XLR connectivity accommodate a range of source and destination gear, from instrument-level signals through to line-level studio equipment. The compact, lightweight enclosure fits beneath pedalboards or travels in a gig bag without adding bulk. When two grounded devices create a ground loop, the P-ISO TRS XLR provides galvanic separation that breaks the electrical path causing interference, restoring clean audio without requiring system reconfiguration or power conditioning.
