Product Information

The KRK KNS6400 is a closed–back studio reference headphone designed to deliver neutral frequency response and extended low–end detail for tracking, mixing, and critical listening. KRK built these around 40mm neodymium drivers tuned to reproduce audio with minimal colouration, letting engineers and producers hear what's actually in the mix. The over–ear design provides passive isolation that keeps bleed out during tracking sessions while maintaining comfort through long production hours.

The frequency response spans 5Hz to 23kHz, giving deep sub–bass extension alongside clear high–frequency articulation. Each driver is housed in a closed circumaural cup with memory foam cushions that seal around the ear without creating hotspots. The 32–ohm impedance makes these headphones easy to drive from audio interfaces, portable recorders, and laptop outputs without requiring a dedicated headphone amplifier. The detachable cable system uses a standard 3.5mm connection at the earcup, with both straight and coiled cables included in the box. The self–adjusting headband distributes weight evenly across the crown.
