Product Information

The K&M 15910 is a mounting bracket designed to hold three mutes simultaneously on stand tubes, music stands, or any structural support with a diameter between 7 and 30 mm. König & Meyer's approach prioritises accessibility and instrument protection through thoughtful mechanical design rather than novelty. For brass players rotating between mute types during rehearsals, performances, or recording sessions, keeping multiple mutes organised and within arm's reach eliminates fumbling and reduces setup time.

Construction centres on fully rubberised holder rings that cradle mutes without marring lacquer or finish—two large rings accommodate standard 80 mm diameter mutes, whilst a single smaller 60 mm ring suits compact or compact-bore variants. The steel bracket itself is black finished and screws securely onto tubes up to 30 mm diameter, distributing load evenly. The assembly weighs just 0.3 kg, adding negligible mass to existing stands. Rubber contact points prevent vibration transfer that could otherwise compromise acoustic isolation during sensitive recording work.

Studio tracking and live touring both benefit from this holder's efficiency. A trumpet or flugelhorn player working across straight, cup, harmon, and bucket mutes can stage them sequentially rather than laying them across laps or adjacent surfaces where they risk rolling or collision damage. The compact footprint suits cramped control rooms and crowded stage rigs alike. Installation requires only a screwdriver, and the bracket's diameter range means it fits standard mic stand tubes, boom arms, and dedicated music-stand systems found in most professional and semi-professional environments.
