Product Information

The Kala Revelator Nautilus Horizon Red Glow Mango Tenor is a slimline acoustic anomaly that reconciles visual impact with sonic authenticity. Handcrafted in Java, this instrument embodies Revelator's philosophy of extracting full, rich tonal output from a compact body—delivering genuine tenor voice despite its streamlined profile. The red transparent gloss finish allows the highly figured mango top to glow visually while the mahogany body and neck contribute warmth and harmonic depth.

Construction centres on tonewoods selected for their acoustic properties: macassar ebony fingerboard with white pearl markers, ebony bridge, and a Florentine cutaway body measuring 26.0 inches overall with a 12.375–inch body length and 1.375–inch depth. Hardware includes Grover® Sta–Tite™ tuners for tuning stability, Graph Tech NuBone® nut and saddle for resonance clarity, and a signature Paua abalone Nautilus inlay on the ebony headplate. The 17.1875–inch scale and 22 frets accommodate standard tenor playing range, whilst the passive piezo electronics enable amplified performance when required.

This model ships with a padded Revelator Transit Series gig bag and demands controlled storage between 40–60% humidity to preserve structural integrity and tonal stability over time. The professional–grade components and hand–crafted construction justify the Nautilus Horizon's positioning as an accessible entry point to Revelator quality, suiting session players, touring musicians, and committed hobbyists alike.
