Product Information
The Kala Revelator Nautilus Horizon Mango Tenor combines handcrafted Indonesian construction with accessible pricing, delivering surprising acoustic punch from a slimline electro–acoustic body. The amber transparent finish reveals the highly figured mango top, whilst a mahogany body and neck establish a warm tonal foundation. True to the Revelator™ lineage, this tenor ukulele achieves pristine amplified tone through a passive piezo system and authentic acoustic volume despite its compact footprint.
Construction centres on Macassar ebony fingerboard and headstock, finished with the signature Paua Abalone Nautilus inlay on the headplate. Graph Tech NuBone® nut and saddle complement Grover® Sta–Tite™ tuners for reliable, smooth tuning action across all four strings. The Florentine cutaway enables access to the full 22–fret span; the 17.1875–inch scale length and 26–inch overall length position it between soprano and baritone registers, whilst the shallow 1.375–inch body depth keeps playing ergonomics comfortable during extended sessions.
Humidity management proves critical for longevity: storage between 40–60% humidity away from direct sunlight, vents, and temperature extremes preserves the figured mango top and inlaid detailing. The included Revelator Transit Series padded gig bag provides baseline protection for transport and casual storage, though a hard case or humidified environment is recommended for regular gigging or studio use.
