The IK Multimedia AmpliTube ToneX Bass Edition is a floor–ready amp modeler pedal engineered specifically for bassists who demand studio–quality tone in a gigging platform. Built around 150 bass–optimized Tone Models captured from legendary amps and pedals–Ampeg® SVT®, Fender® Bassman®, Markbass®, Orange® AD200, Gallien–Krueger®, and others–this silver aluminium pedal delivers the defining feature that sets it apart: enhanced dry/wet phase correlation that keeps low–end fundamentals locked while blending processed signals for mix–ready tones.
The pedal houses 50 banks of presets, each built around a legendary bass amp with three tone options per bank, plus 15 onboard effects for customisation. Processing runs at 24–bit, 192 kHz with a 5 Hz to 24 kHz frequency response and 123 dB noise floor, ensuring your bass’s character stays intact before the modelling engine even engages. The included TONEX software suite–Modeller, Editor, and Control Station–unlocks access to the full 150–model Signature Bass Collection and ToneNET’s browsable library. The pedal doubles as a 24–bit/44.1 kHz USB audio interface, eliminating the need for extra gear in the studio.
Both hardware and software integrate seamlessly for home programming and on–stage tone recall. Load your 20 favourite presets onto the compact form factor or access all 150 models via the standalone editor connected to your rig.
