The Hosa EDGE DB25 to Neutrik XLRM Snake delivers eight channels of balanced analogue audio across four metres of precision-engineered cable. Designed for engineers sending tracks from interfaces to summing mixers, patching into consoles, or routing signals to powered monitors, this snake prioritises signal integrity through proven materials and exacting build standards. Genuine Neutrik XX-Series XLR male connectors and robust metal DB25 hoods anchor a cable that refuses to colour the signal path.
XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulation provides low capacitance and thermal stability across all eight channels. Each conductor uses 24 AWG (0.18 mm²) oxygen-free copper for optimal signal transfer, while a 58-strand spiral shield ensures effective RFI/EMI rejection in RF-heavy environments. The cable's construction matches or exceeds the copper mass and shielding density of established studio bulk wire, maintaining transient response and solderability without compromise. This is material science applied without marketing hyperbole.
