Product Information
Transparent coloured plastic comb and cover plates give this diatonic harmonica its vibrant yellow appearance, while anodized aluminium reed plates keep everything structurally solid. The Hohner Translucent Harp Harmonica in the Key of C is tuned to C–Major, making it an accessible entry point for players exploring blues, rock, folk, and country styles. Twenty brass reeds respond cleanly across the instrument's range, offering the tonal warmth and articulation that define the diatonic harmonica sound.
Reed plates are machined from 0.9 mm brass with a brass surface finish, providing durability and tonal consistency across extended playing sessions. The twenty reeds are also brass construction, delivering the characteristic brightness and projection required for amplified or acoustic performance. Transparent plastic construction throughout the comb and covers reduces weight without sacrificing structural integrity, while the anodized aluminium reed plates resist corrosion and maintain tuning stability. The C–Major tuning covers the most commonly used key in harmonica–driven music, from Chicago blues progressions to folk melody lines.
