Product Information

This 9-pack of C-soprano melody recorders arrives with German fingering and a gold-coloured finish branded with The Magic Flute logo, inspired by the 2022 fantasy film. Hohner produces these recorders from impact-resistant plastic in a one-piece construction that simplifies cleaning and maintenance. Each unit ships with a wiper stick, cleaning sponge, reusable plastic sleeve, sticker set, and a download voucher for the companion mobile app that ties directly into the film's narrative.

The app functions as both a teaching tool and interactive story experience, available for iOS 15 or later and Android 12 or higher. Real-time sound recognition through the device microphone tracks finger positioning as users progress through step-by-step lessons, earning points while replaying scenes from the film as Prince Tamino. All songs from The Magic Flute soundtrack are available to play along with, using the app's method for learning correct fingering technique. The recorder itself delivers solid tonal output with the straightforward response expected from German fingering systems.
