Product Information

Designed specifically for vallenato musicians, this three-row diatonic accordion delivers the authentic Colombian sound with a fresh approach to both aesthetics and tonal output. The Hohner Rey Vallenato features a newly designed grill that enhances acoustic projection while giving the instrument a contemporary visual edge. Tuned to Bb/Eb/Ab, this 31-button accordion offers three reeds per note across 62 total notes, providing the rich harmonic depth required for traditional vallenato repertoire.

The triple-voice configuration produces a single tone colour with exceptional clarity and volume, while the 12 standard basses with six bass voices deliver the rhythmic foundation essential to the genre. The left-hand bass strap adjusts to accommodate different hand sizes and playing styles, ensuring comfortable performance during extended sessions. Three button rows and diatonic construction allow rapid melodic runs and the characteristic ornamentation that defines vallenato music, from paseo to merengue styles.
