Product Information
The Hemingway HPB44B is a duet–width piano bench designed to accommodate two players or provide a wider seating surface for single pianists who prefer extra room. Upholstered in black vinyl over a padded cushion, the bench measures 76cm wide, significantly broader than standard single benches. The four–leg hardwood construction uses solid timber throughout, finished in ebony black to complement dark pianos and maintain a traditional aesthetic in teaching studios and home practice spaces.
Height is fixed at 50cm from floor to seat top, matching the standard concert height that positions most players at the correct ergonomic angle relative to keyboard action. The rectangular seat cushion spans the full 76cm width and measures 35cm front to back, offering ample depth for comfortable posture during extended sessions. Each leg tapers slightly and includes a rubber foot to protect flooring and prevent sliding on polished surfaces. Maximum weight capacity is rated at 180kg, distributing load across all four contact points for stability during two–person use.
