The Hardcase Standard 13 Snare Case (model HN13S) bridges the gap between softcase convenience and flight–case durability. Built around a single–piece ultra–tough shell construction, this hardcase is engineered specifically for 13–inch snare drums and offers impact protection that softcases can't match, at a fraction of flight–case cost. The telescopic lid design clamps drums firmly in place during transport, whilst the stacking geometry makes it practical for gigging musicians and studio drummers juggling multiple kits.

Internal foam grip pads hold the snare snugly at the case's interior, preventing movement during transit. External dimensions span 448 mm (width) by 399 mm (depth), with adjustable internal depth ranging from 150 mm to 229 mm to accommodate different bearing edge profiles and tom heights. Heavy–duty webbing and reinforced clips distribute load across the case structure, while the soft–grip carry handle and ID badge slot suit both touring and local transport scenarios. The rigid shell resists rot, splitting, and delamination—critical for cases subjected to temperature and humidity swings across touring schedules.
