Hardcase HN22G 22" Gong / Tam Tam Case (Black)

Designed to accommodate gongs and tam tams measuring 22–30 inches, the Hardcase HN22G is a made–to–order protective case from Hardcase. This model measures 23.9 inches in internal diameter with a 5–inch depth, weighing approximately 5.2 kilograms. Built exclusively in black, the HN22G comes fully lined with flat foam as standard, replacing the egg box foam used in earlier production runs. A fitted carry handle ensures easy transport to rehearsals, gigs, and recording sessions.

The moulded construction provides durable protection for delicate bronze and nickel–silver instruments that require careful handling during transport. Internal dimensions accommodate the 22–inch gong size with clearance, while the flat foam lining absorbs impacts and prevents movement inside the case. Hardcase manufactures each unit to order, ensuring consistent build quality across the range. Larger models in the series (HN24G, HN26G, and HN28/30G) add integrated wheels for easier handling of heavier instruments, though the HN22G relies solely on its handle given the lighter weight of smaller gongs.
