Product Information

Hardcase's bass drum cases are purpose–built protection for kick drums ranging from 16” to 26”, designed around the principle that a quality case preserves both the instrument and its sound during transit. Made to order, each HN18B and its siblings in the range employ full internal padding to absorb impact whilst accommodating varied shell depths and geometries found across modern drum kits. The engineering prioritises accessibility over excess weight, keeping fully lined versions under 8 kg for the compact 18” model.

The HN18B accepts bass drums with shell depths between 14” and 20”, allowing flexibility across deeper and shallower configurations. When fully lined, the case weighs 7.8 kg; pads–only configuration drops to 7.2 kg for users requiring lighter transport or who prefer to retrofit their own interior materials. Hard cases at this scale balance structural rigidity with portability, critical for touring drummers navigating load–ins and vehicle constraints. All dimensions and weights carry manufacturing tolerances; specifications are approximate.
