Product Information
The Gretsch Streamliner CVT Laurel Fingerboard in Olive Drab is a double–cutaway electric guitar that brings high–output performance and classic rock aesthetic to modern players. Its mahogany body and neck construction lays down rich midrange punch with extended lows and shimmering highs, while bevelled contours and a rounded heel deliver comfortable access across the entire fretboard. The fast, shallow "C" neck profile with tapered shoulders suits smaller hands and faster playing styles without compromising the tonal foundation.
HotWire ceramic humbuckers drive the Streamliner's sonic engine, pairing high–output matched coils in the bridge with hybrid coils in the neck position for both brilliant clean response and saturated overdrive. Vacuum wax–potting eliminates unwanted noise and interference during high–gain applications. The Pitch–Perfect head angle reduces string tension behind the nut to prevent binding and slipping, while a GraphTech NuBone nut enhances resonance, sustain and balanced tone across all six strings. Laurel fingerboard material provides smooth playability under fast runs and chord transitions.
The distinctive Split–V headstock and Olive Drab finish give the Streamliner CVT immediate visual presence on stage and in the studio. Ceramic magnets in both pickups provide higher output levels compared to traditional Alnico designs, giving aggressive rhythm tones and singing lead lines the power to cut through dense band mixes. This configuration responds equally well to vintage–voiced amplifiers and modern high–gain rigs, maintaining clarity even under extreme distortion settings.
