Product Information
The Gravity GMS2WP is a cast–iron weight plate engineered for Gravity's round–base microphone stands. At 2.3 kg, this powder–coated disc anchors lightweight stands against accidental displacement during live performance or studio work. Gravity's VARI–WEIGHT® system lets users insert or remove the weight without dismantling the stand, balancing portability with stability demands on different stages and setups.
The disc measures 210 mm in diameter and delivers sufficient mass to counteract tall microphone positions or heavier capsule loads. Its 2.3 kg specification works with Gravity's round–base stand geometry to lower the centre of gravity considerably, critical when boom arms extend forward or when stands sit on uneven flooring. The powder coating resists scuffs during transport, though the base unit itself is sold separately and remains compatible across Gravity's round–base range.
