Gibson's Victory Floyd Rose sits at the intersection of modern shred aesthetics and dependable hardware—a mahogany double-cutaway with AA figured maple top built around the core demand from players: a Floyd Rose locking vibrato system. The 647.7 mm scale length supports aggressive bending and drop tunings, while the SlimTaper™ profile neck carved from mahogany enables fast position changes. This isn't a cosmetic update; the Floyd Rose locking nut and bridge deliver the tuning stability required for sustained vibrato abuse without drift.
Electronics centre on two uncovered 80s Tribute humbuckers with zebra bobbins, wired to push/pull master volume and tone controls for coil splitting and selectable inner/outer coil tapping—three distinct voice options from a single three-way switch. The 24 medium jumbo frets ride an ebony fingerboard with compound radius (7.25” to 12”) for smooth chording and low-action playability across the neck. Six-on-a-side Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners and chrome hardware complete a shred–focused visual identity that extends to the black five-ply pickguard and acrylic dot inlays.
The Victory Floyd Rose excels in high–gain and drop–tuned contexts where tuning stability and tonal range matter equally. Nitrocellulose lacquer finishes highlight the figured top, and the included hardshell case provides transport protection for gigging and studio work alike.
