Product Information
Gibson's Les Paul Studio Session in Cobalt Burst combines decades of solid-body electric design with a streamlined, player-focused approach. Built on a mahogany body with a carved maple top, this guitar delivers the Les Paul's signature thick, warm tone without unnecessary weight or bulk. The Session model strips away decorative binding and elaborate appointments to focus on what matters: tone, playability, and affordability for serious musicians who want a genuine Gibson without the premium price tag.
Two Alnico Classic pickups drive the signal path through a three-way toggle switch, master volume, and master tone control. The neck is a comfortable SlimTaper profile measuring 0.81 inches at the first fret, fitted to a 12-inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A tune–o–matic bridge paired with a stopbar tailpiece locks in intonation and sustain. The Cobalt Burst finish is a modern departure from traditional Les Paul aesthetics—a deep metallic blue that shifts across light conditions. The included soft shell case provides reliable protection for transport and storage.
