Genelec's proprietary Directivity Control Waveguide technology and die-cast aluminium enclosure define this compact active monitoring system, which packs a 105mm bass driver and 19mm metal dome tweeter into a cabinet just 230mm tall. The G Two delivers the uncoloured, reference-grade performance Genelec is known for, but in a form factor designed for tight desktop and small-room installations. Frequency response extends from 56Hz (–6dB) to 25kHz, with ±2.5dB accuracy across the critical 62Hz to 20kHz range. Built-in bi-amplification eliminates the need for external power, while room compensation switches on the rear panel allow tailored response adjustment for placement against walls or in corners.

The active crossover operates at low signal levels before amplification, isolating each driver and reducing intermodulation distortion while enabling precise frequency response tuning without outboard equalisers. Intelligent Signal Sensing technology monitors input activity and drops the monitor into a sub-0.5-watt sleep state when no audio is detected, then wakes instantly when signal returns. Maximum short-term SPL reaches 100dB at 1 metre, with long-term output of 93dB and self-generated noise held below 5dB A-weighted. The reflex-ported enclosure measures 151mm wide by 142mm deep, and each monitor weighs 3.2kg. An included Iso-Pod decoupling stand lifts overall height to 242mm and improves stereo imaging by reducing vibration transmission to the mounting surface.

Minimum Diffraction Enclosure geometry and controlled directivity ensure flat response both on and off-axis, widening the usable listening area and increasing the direct-to-reflected sound ratio in less-than-ideal rooms. The raw aluminium finish pairs function with industrial aesthetics. Compatibility with Genelec's F Series subwoofers extends low-frequency capability for full-range home theatre and music production applications. Multiple mounting accessories—from wall brackets to ceiling mounts and truss kits—accommodate non-traditional placements, while an ISS disable switch on the rear panel allows manual power control when auto-sensing isn't required.
