Hand-wound Underwound '69 Single-Coil Strat pickups across all three positions give the Fender Custom Shop American Custom Stratocaster NOS (Crimson Burst) its classic Fender voice with exceptional clarity and dynamic response. This Custom Shop instrument features a select two-piece ash body with offset seam and deep contoured heel, delivering outstanding resonance and playing comfort. The 3A roasted flame maple neck is finished in smooth nitrocellulose lacquer and paired with a premium 3A rosewood fingerboard, combining authentic vintage aesthetics with modern playability.

The control layout includes master volume, master tone, and a 1/2 blend control that works through a 5-position blade switch. This configuration allows blending of the neck pickup with bridge and bridge/middle positions for expanded tonal options beyond standard Stratocaster wiring. The neck profile follows the '65 Strat “C” back shape with a compound 9.5”–12” radius fingerboard, fitted with 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets (6150). A bone nut and vintage-style tuning machines with Fender logo maintain period-correct appointments, while the 6-saddle RSD Stratocaster tremolo uses vintage-style steel saddles.

The NOS (New Old Stock) finish replicates a brand-new instrument from the golden era, complete with 1-ply black phenolic pickguard and American Vintage '59–'64 string tree. Stainless steel frets provide extended longevity compared to traditional nickel-silver wire. The guitar ships in a deluxe hardshell case with strap and certificate of authenticity documenting its Custom Shop provenance.
