Event Lighting's T3TD2 offers a 290mm triangular aluminium truss system built from 6061-T6 alloy, with main tubes measuring 50mm diameter and 3mm wall thickness across its 2m length. This TUV-rated truss is designed for rigging lighting and audio equipment in live events, installations, and mobile stage setups. The triangular ladder-style design combines structural efficiency with straightforward assembly, while the washed aluminium finish provides durability against the rigours of repeated transport and installation. At 2m span, the truss handles a centre point load of 1000kg with just 2.5mm deflection, making it a reliable backbone for mid-scale rigging applications.
The construction uses three distinct tube specifications: 50mm x 3mm main chords, 50mm x 2mm vice braces, and 20mm x 2mm diagonal bracing members. Load capacity scales with span length, maintaining 730kg centre point load at 3m and 501kg at 4m, with corresponding uniform load ratings of 1108kg, 1000kg, and 820kg respectively. The aluminium alloy delivers strength-to-weight performance that simplifies transport and reduces total system mass during overhead installations. Deflection measurements are provided across spans from 2m to 12m for both centre point and uniform loading scenarios, allowing riggers to calculate precise structural requirements. The ladder-style configuration requires chords facing downward when mounted horizontally to maintain rated load capacity.
