This wireless DMX transmitter operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency band using AFHSS modulation, delivering robust RF performance in outdoor environments rated IP65. Built for reliability in touring rigs and fixed installations alike, the unit ships with a truss–mounting bracket, 5 pin XLR male connector, and Powercon input, reducing setup friction on load–in days. The 500 m line–of–sight working range suits large festival grounds, outdoor venues, and sprawling stage layouts where cable runs become impractical.
Signal integrity remains tight across all 512 DMX channels with sub–5 ms latency, critical for synced lighting cues and real–time control. The transceiver maintains compatibility with CRMX and W–DMX G3/G4S protocols, allowing integration into existing wireless rigs without proprietary lock–in. A single universe per device expands to 16 coexisting universes in multi–transmitter scenarios, while the included 5 dBi antenna optimises coverage across congested RF environments. Housing measures 135 × 90 × 265 mm and weighs just 1.0 kg, keeping rig weight and flight case real estate manageable.
