This IP65–rated unit handles the control layer between transmitter and fixtures without compromise, combining wide frequency compatibility—CRMX, W–DMX G3, and G4S protocols all supported—with genuine weather resistance. The inclusion of a truss mounting bracket and robust Powercon In connector reflects practical design thinking; this isn't a benchtop device cobbled together for field use, but purpose–built gear.
The receiver manages 512 DMX channels across a single universe with latency capped below 5 milliseconds, critical for synchronised lighting cues across a venue. Operating range extends to 500 metres line–of–sight thanks to the 5 dBi antenna and AFHSS modulation method, which spreads signal across available bandwidth to reduce interference. The 5 pin XLR female output connects directly to standard DMX chains, whilst the unit itself measures 135 × 90 × 265 mm and weighs only 1.0 kg, making it practical for touring rigs or permanent installations. IP65 rating means dust ingress is blocked and water spray won't penetrate the housing—a genuine advantage for outdoor summer festivals or coastal venues.
