Product Information
Evans manufactures the 14" ST (Super Tough) snare batter head for drummers who demand durability without sacrificing tone. Built with two plies of 7.5mil film totalling 15mil thickness, this coated head withstands hard hitting whilst maintaining a full bandwidth rimshot sound. The Super Tough designation reflects genuine engineering: extra material and Evans' premium coating formula keep the head performing through extended sessions and touring schedules.
The two–ply construction delivers defined attack with moderate sustain and tone colour suited to rock, punk, funk and contemporary styles. Level 360 Technology ensures consistent performance across the entire head surface, eliminating dead spots common in cheaper alternatives. The standard coated finish provides warmth and control compared to clear heads, whilst the added thickness resists denting and premature wear from stick impact and rim shots.
