Finding a versatile 5-string bass that combines style, playability, and expressive tone can be a challenge. The ESP LTD B-205SM delivers a professional-grade instrument with an ash body and spalted maple top in Natural Satin finish, offering a visually striking look that stands out on stage or in the studio. The bolt-on construction ensures stability while maintaining a lightweight, comfortable feel for extended playing sessions.

A 5-piece maple and jatoba thin U-shaped neck with a 34" scale provides excellent stability and fast, smooth playability. The rosewood fretboard with 400mm radius and 24 extra-jumbo frets allows for precise note articulation across all strings, while the 45mm moulded nut and LTD tuners offer reliable tuning and long-term stability. Black nickel hardware complements the overall aesthetic, combining durability with a modern appearance.

Equipped with ESP Designed SB-5N and SB-5B passive pickups, paired with an ABQ-3 3-band active EQ, the B-205SM delivers a broad tonal palette from warm, round lows to punchy, articulate highs. Controls include Volume, Balance, and EQ knobs, providing intuitive adjustment for live performance or studio recording. The LTD BB-605 bridge with string-through design ensures strong sustain and accurate intonation.
