Product Information

Erica Synths' Resonant Filterbank is a desktop analog filterbank designed for studio and live performance work across synthesisers, drum machines, guitars, and modular setups. Ten bandpass filters cover the spectrum from 29 Hz to 11 kHz, each with hands–on boost and cut control plus configurable resonance feedback loops that transform the unit into an unconventional multimode filter, envelope follower, or experimental sound generator.

The signal path features discrete components with high–quality film capacitors in each bandpass filter and a +24 dB analogue gain stage to handle line and instrument levels. Full MIDI control over all parameters, 20 independent LFOs, 20 envelope followers, and 128 user snapshot slots enable complex real–time performance. Stereo 6.3 mm balanced I/O, MIDI IN/OUT, and a 17.6 cm wide aluminium chassis keep the unit compact and compatible with existing studio gear.

Multimode filter, spectral analyser, and dynamic spectral compressor modes reward experimentation—layer resonance settings to discover textures buried in familiar instruments. MIDI clock synchronisation allows rhythmic control across bigger setups, while discrete and morphing snapshot transitions prevent jarring parameter jumps during performance.
