The 10-ply North American Maple shell delivers warm, punchy fundamentals with the resonance and projection expected from custom-grade drums. A 45-degree back-cut bearing edge maximises head-to-shell contact for enhanced tone and sustain, while the MAG throw-off provides fast, reliable snare engagement. This Natural Gloss Lacquer finish showcases the grain of the maple beneath.

Quarter lugs reduce shell mass for improved resonance while maintaining secure tension across the shell. TruePitch tension rods enable precise, stable tuning that holds through extended playing sessions. The 6.5" depth sits between standard piccolo and deep snare dimensions, offering versatility across backbeat-heavy rock grooves and sensitive ghost-note work. HVX construction uses strategically placed cross-lamination and alternating grain directions to control overtones without sacrificing volume or attack.
