Product Information
DW's One–Touch Clutch is a cymbal stand fastener engineered by Drum Workshop to eliminate the frustration of loose cymbals mid–performance. The single–action locking mechanism tightens or releases cymbal tension with one smooth motion, replacing the traditional dual–nut approach that demands constant adjustment during gigs. Chrome finish resists corrosion in humid venues and studio environments.
The clutch uses a spring–loaded cam system that grips the cymbal stand felt and sleeve without requiring tools or multiple rotations. Installation fits standard 5/8" and 3/8" diameter cymbal stand felts. The mechanism maintains consistent pressure across the entire cymbal surface, preventing tilt or drift that degrades clarity and timing. DW's design allows drummers to change cymbals rapidly between songs or swap articulation mid–session without re–tensioning adjacent hardware.
Musicians relying on quick changes—session players, touring acts, or studio engineers recording multiple percussion setups—benefit most from this clutch. The reduced setup time cuts soundcheck duration and minimises the risk of cymbals loosening during dynamic playing or transport between venues.
