After years of player requests and extensive prototype development, DW has crafted a carbon fibre shell that meets their exacting standards and earns its place in the prestigious Drummer's Choice® collection.

This innovative snare drum combines the cutting power needed for high–volume performances with remarkable dynamic sensitivity across all playing levels. The carbon fibre construction provides exceptional volume and cut, making it ideal for demanding live situations whilst maintaining the nuanced response that discerning drummers require.

The DRVF5514SVC comes equipped with premium DW hardware including the reliable MAG throw–off system and versatile 3P 3–Position Butt Plate for precise snare wire adjustment. Completed with DW True–Hoops and True–Tone snare wires, this drum represents a significant milestone in DW's ongoing commitment to pushing the boundaries of drum construction materials and techniques.
