Product Information
Twin side-by-side coils and a dual-blade pole design eliminate the string alignment and magnetic pull issues that plague traditional Strat-sized humbuckers. This rail hum-cancelling pickup from DiMarzio pushes more power into the mids and low end than the Fast Track 1, delivering greater punch and crunch for players who need a bigger, more aggressive tone without routing their guitar. The stacked-blade construction fits any standard single-coil rout, making it a drop-in replacement that maintains hum-free operation under high-gain settings.
Originally designed as a bridge pickup to pair with The Cruiser and Fast Track 1, The Chopper also functions as a capable neck pickup when balanced against a hot humbucker in the bridge position. The concentrated midrange response and enhanced low-end presence give it a thicker voice than typical single-coil-sized humbuckers, particularly when driving tube amps into saturation. Available in red, the pickup ships with Quick Connect wiring for faster installation without soldering.
